Module 3: Architect Your Meeting Program

Identify the key elements, benefits and outcomes of meeting policy creation. Learn how to craft and communicate effective corporate policies and procedures by demonstrating subject matter expertise in legal and risk management terms.

In addition, evaluate the common measures of success for procurement while developing a specific strategy to manage contracting work for meetings.

  1. Recognize the evolution of procurement as a discipline and as it relates to strategic meetings management
  2. Differentiate between RFI, RFQ, and RFP and demonstrate the value and application of each approach
  3. Evaluate the common measures of success for the procurement discipline
  4. Recognize and develop a specific strategy to manage contracting activity for meetings

Discover the latest technology available for meetings management and procurement professionals. Maximize the efficacy of your program by obtaining and analyzing data from various sources. Learn how to organize your stakeholders into groups and evaluate them with specific SMMP metrics. Review best practices in the implementation, training, launch and post-launch of technology products and services.

At the conclusion of Module 5, the learner will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate competence in technology vocabulary and language
  2. Obtain data from various internal and external sources and evaluate data validity
  3. Discover and document requirements for each stakeholder group and create SMMP metrics in four key categories
  4. Review best practices in implementation, training, launch, and post-launch of technology products and services
