Frequently Asked Questions
What is a GBTA Webinar?
GBTA Webinars are web-based educational sessions that allow GBTA members and nonmembers to participate in live interactive programs on business travel industry issues.
Each GBTA Webinar covers a wide range of topics that are specific, educational, interactive, and cost effective. Due to limited financial resources, time, and family commitments, we know how difficult it is to attend meetings, conferences, and workshops. It's easy to miss the learning opportunities that help you to stay abreast of the latest technologies, newly-passed regulations, and updated processes. GBTA has a solution to meet your needs via GBTA Webinars.
What makes a GBTA Webinar such a unique, professional development opportunity?
- Cost effective - Travel is not required, you can learn from any computer that can access the Internet
- Real-time answers - Industry experts are available to answer your questions
- Live and interactive - Take advantage of online tools, such as polling and chat
- Presentations - Recieve a copy of the presentation and a link to the online archive
How and when will I receive log-in instructions and reminders?
You will receive log-in instructions via email upon registering for the webinar. Reminder emails are sent at 10 days, 5 days, and 1 day prior to the webinar. If you do not receive instructions from firstname.lastname@example.org within a few minutes of registering, please contact email@example.com.
Will I be able to earn GTP Recertification credits by attending a webinar?
One credit is earned for most 60 minute GBTA Webinars. Keep documentation of your attendance and report when all 50 recertification credits are earned. Please contact Heather Trusty at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
