The mission of the Sports Business Travel Committee is to bring together travel professionals in the sports industry in order to educate the membership regarding the unique challenges related to all phases of travel. Special focus will be given to establishing commonalities across organizations and to sharing this information with the GBTA membership.

Objectives

• Establish travel benchmarks and best practices for the sports industry
• Provide a network for information exchange within the sports business travel industry and GBTA membership
• Educate the industry about sports specific travel needs
• Act as a resource for GBTA members, the sports business travel community and business partners seeking information about the sports business travel field
• Serve as a voice for the sports sector of the travel industry
