Welcome to the 2010 NBTA CSR Award application information page. The NBTA CSR Committee has established this annual award to recognize innovative and significant initiatives implemented by a company which recognizes the mission and objectives of the NBTA CSR Committee. 

In your process to determining whether to complete the application, we encourage you to not be intimidated by the scope and breadth of the actual application.  Many companies are doing amazing things in the travel market space around sustainability, with maturity levels ranging from zero (where there are no existing initiatives) to level four (where companies have well-established sustainability programs within their corporate travel departments).  We are looking to hear from and celebrate all those that are currently contributing to advancing their CSR initiatives within their companies travel programs.    

Reporting and management of carbon emissions can be treated like any other travel category managed by the company to understand trend, cost and impact and once you begin the process of quantifying your impact, you will find many ways to increase your effect on the bottom line in regard to social, environmental and financial criteria.
