Is this your first time attending the GBTA Convention? How will you get the most from these few days spent at The Business Travel Event of the Year®? Join other first time attendees for this special luncheon session to meet other new attendees and preview Convention activities. Plus, attendees will be entertained by The Rhythm of Success, a keynote presentation that will teach you how to build and strengthen your most vital relationships. Motivational performers, Dan Thurmon and Philip Solomon, employ an exciting mix of spoken content, percussion, thrilling stunts, and audience participation to teach and demonstrate three keys to powerful relationships: Communication, Collaboration, and Trust.
Dan Thurmon is a “Hall of Fame” keynote speaker, life balance expert, and author of two books, including Off Balance On Purpose. He has appeared at thousands of events on six continents, on national television, and even on the front lines of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Philip Solomon is a nationally recognized actor, musician and entertainment producer. He’s the Director of Outreach Programs for Cirque du Soleil and owner of Way Too Much Entertainment. He is also an expert in conflict resolution, teamwork, and communication.
With a powerful message PLUS the added elements of music, percussion, acrobatics and audience involvement, Dan and Philip will help us all enhance our ability to work together and build better relationships. Together, we will experience and achieve The Rhythm of Success.
Attendees will learn:
- Communication – How to express yourself clearly, listen intently, and build a strong connection with the people you encounter. Also, you’ll learn to handle situations where people try to sabotage your success.
- Collaboration – How to move from simple communication to collaboration, where you harmonize your efforts with others for maximum results.
- Trust – How to trust yourself, trust the people who can aid your success, and earn the trust of your partners.
