Chapter Presidents Council Overview 


Mission

The Chapter Presidents' Council (CPC) represents the unified local chapters of GBTA and is the principal liaison between local chapters and GBTA. The CPC's membership includes leaders of each of GBTA's chapters, and the President of the Council sits on the GBTA Board of Directors.

2011 Chapter Presidents' Council Call for Nominations

The Chapter Presidents’ Council (CPC) leadership nominations process has begun! The CPC shall by majority vote, elect a President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer to serve a two (2) year term. This position must be filled by a current CPC member, CPC Officer, or a CPC member from the previous calendar year. Each applicant must be a current GBTA member.

 

Prior to the GBTA Annual Convention in Denver, the Chapter Presidents’ Council members will elect their next President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer.  These officers will serve two (2) year terms beginning January 1, 2012  and serve until December 31, 2013 with the exception of the CPC President who will serve an additional two (2) year term as CPC Past President. June 10 - Platform statements placed on CPC website
July 8 - August 5 - Voting Opens
August 20 - Results announced at CPC Dinner
