The Managed Travel Index (MTI) was designed to help you benchmark the overall operational effectiveness and efficiencies of your managed travel program.
The tool is divided into six (6) areas of performance: Finance, Administration, Sourcing, Technology, Quality, and Compliance.
Each performance area contains a series of related questions. Please Click Here to download and preview a copy of the MTI questions and possible answers. Simply answer all the questions in each section.
Once you complete the MTI Data Collector, hit the submit button. A "Thank You" pop-up window should appeared with an "OK" button. Click the "OK" button to complete the transaction. Your data has know been captured and is ready for benchmarking.
Once you receive your MTI score from The GBTA Foundation, you will be able to review it, and then benchmark your MTI using the MTI Dashboard.
Benchmarking against other companies using comparators such as Industry, Region and Total Travel Spend is just a click of your mouse. Click on the "Benchmark My MTI" button. You will also have the ability to return to the tool at any time to update your answers as your program changes, grows, and improves.
There are currently 246 responses in the MTI database.
Note that this tool is currently applicable only to U.S. point-of-sale locations. A Canadian version is available at http://www.gbtacanada.org/benchmarking.
