HRG Worldwide Partners with the NBTA Foundation to Deliver NBTA’s CCTE Program HRG Worldwide has partnered with the NBTA Foundation to support NBTA's Certified Corporate Travel Executive (CCTE) program. The CCTE program, consisting of 2 Core Weeks of classes and 5 one-day electives, is designed for business travel management professionals who want to enhance their knowledge, skills and productivity.

NBTA Foundation to Award 2010 GLP Scholarships The NBTA Foundation will award $50,000 in scholarships this year to qualified members to attend the Global Leadership Professional program (GLP) and the GLP Designation through The Wharton School of Business in 2010.

Salary Survey Shows Decreased Compensation in 2009 The 2009 NBTA Foundation Travel Management Compensation and Benefits Survey, based on the responses of 274 corporate travel and meetings managers working in the United States, shows the average base salary of respondents increased 2.1 percent this year, while the total compensation, including salaries and bonuses, declined 5.6 percent from last year to $91,954.

Essentials of Management Offered at The Wharton School of Business The NBTA Foundation will offer the only 5-day GLP program for 2010, February 21-26 at the Wharton School in Philadelphia. Essentials of Management teaches the core concepts of business to individuals who need to broaden their managerial and strategic perspectives, enhance their business instincts and sharpen their ability to tackle management challenges. Past participants have nicknamed the program a “mini-MBA.”
