NBTA Foundation Continues Work on Hotel RFP Form
 During the spring of 2009, the NBTA Foundation, with the financial support of Hilton Worldwide, initiated a process to evaluate the NBTA RFP Form and the overall RFP process. Most recently, the NBTA Foundation conducted several focus groups to gather input during the NBTA International Conference in Houston this past August and at the NBTA Europe conference in Lisbon last month.

First Ever, Industry-Wide Corporate Travel Policy Study Helps Travel Managers Save Money
 The NBTA Foundation and Egencia® recently released the first-ever, industry-wide corporate travel policy study to help travel managers understand various best practices and suggest ways to save their corporation money. One significant finding is that stricter policies requiring purchase of non-refundable tickets and the lowest logical fair for air travel could equate to an estimated $29.8 billion in total corporate savings in North America.

NBTA Foundation Awards Industry's Highest Designation
 During the NBTA Convention last August in Houston, 11 industry professionals completed the final chapter in the Foundation’s educational programming—the Global Leadership Professional (GLP) Designation. The GLP designation builds upon the principles of the GLP program coursework, the industry’s only master’s level course.
