Annual Silent Auction The Georgia Business Travel Association holds its Annual Silent
Auction on the second Tuesday in September. The success of the
Auction, the main fundraising event for GBTA, is dependent on
your support and donations.
A
portion of the funds generated during the event are donated to
charity as GBTA and its members believe to giving back to the
community. The Charity Partner for 2008 is the Junior League of Atlanta. Their members contribute thousands of volunteer hours to help women and children in the greater Atlanta area.
Georgia Business Travel Association, a not for profit organization,
was founded in 1979. It is a chapter of The National Business
Travel Association (NBTA) whose members represent major corporations
and travel suppliers. Both organizations, working together, provide
members with information on the latest technology and service
advances within the travel industry, as well as current legislative
issues and industry hot topics.
