- We will develop a backgrounder about the campaign that NBTA members can use within their own companies to highlight the issue to their leadership and government affairs staff, if any.
Provide material to NBTA that can be shared with policymakers and media on the economic impact of cancellations
- We very much need case studies or anecdotal material on how travel can drive corporate growth and employment and how companies calculate ROI’s and similar metrics.
File comments during the upcoming Department of Treasury rulemaking on the travel practices of TARP companies
- While we do not know the exact timing of the rule-making yet, at some point soon there will be an opportunity for the public to weigh on Treasury’s deliberations on what constitutes “luxury” or “excessive” travel.
The image of excessive corporate travel is based on a few extreme events. It is up to us to set the record straight.
