GBTA Ladders Program Mentors are highly accomplished executives with proven success in the travel business from both buyer and supplier organizations. These passionate industry leaders volunteer their time to guide talented members of the corporate travel community by helping them build connections, knowledge, and skills – helping shape the future of the business travel industry.
The systemic shock to the industry meant many teams were unable to continue. This team went from 4 to 2 members. But the Sabre member Katlynne Dahan, a Senior Contributor, and her team partner Kim Call, a Global Corporate Accounts Mgr from United Airlines were persistent, committed, and resilient. Despite furlough and adjusted schedules they adapted to the context, to the numerous challenges, and didn’t give up.
They will be delivering their fantastic presentation on the value of Diversity & Inclusion within a Corporate Travel Program. They challenged us to see the opportunity to do more to reflect D&I into practical aspects of business programs such as Travel right alongside traveler safety as a current priority. This presentation will be extremely creative, engaging, and compelling. They were on the rollercoaster of preparing an exec project presentation as we all know it, refining right to the last minute based on practice feedback. All this despite never having met in person since the planned Ladders summit meetings were canceled.
