In recent years, more issues of women’s risk and safety have been brought to light, and with this awareness comes the question of how women can remain safe in potentially risky situations, such as traveling. While many recommendations and resources exist for female travelers on leisure travel, it is unclear whether this same advice is heeded during business trips, or whether organizations have enough support and resources in place to mitigate risk for female business travelers. Building on 2018 research from GBTA and AIG Travel, this webinar  explores female business travelers’ perceptions of their safety on the road, and what actions, if any, individuals and organizations take to better guarantee safety.

At the end of the session, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the major concerns female business travelers face today

  • Learn how safety concerns for female business travelers' affect their business trips

  • Identify gaps that exist between what women want out of their travel program and what policies are resources organizations provide

  • Learn ways in which organizations can better ensure the safety of female travelers
