Increasingly, companies think about the “value” of business travel. Some have set out to build an employee-centric travel program. To do this, they must not only revisit their priorities – they must find new metrics and data sources to evaluate their performance. Based on GBTA research, this session examines how companies leverage data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve traveler experience.

At the end of the session, participants should be able to:

  • Learn about new “traveler-focused” metrics that companies track

  • Learn about the types of data that travel programs share with internal stakeholders. Do companies share traveler-focused metrics?

  • Learn about how companies might use HR data to track traveler retention

  • Learn about the key performance indicators that travel programs use to measure their success. Do cost-focused KPIs trump the traveler experience?
