Finding the Balance: Company and Personal Privacy While Working Remotely

Date & Time:

Tuesday, September 29 | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM ET

As millions of employees find themselves working from home (“WFH”), they may be putting the security and privacy of themselves, their families, and their employers at risk. This session will look at personal and family safety, security and privacy issues, and good practices. We will walk through the myriad of organizational security and privacy issues that arise from working remotely, whether at home or at other locations. Issues that range from people overhearing phone and meeting conversations, what happens to confidential information that was printed out, to access and storing confidential information on your home computer. Finally, we will debate the organizational responsibility for compensation for use of the home, internet, and other resources.
