It is once again time to make your voice heard for the business travel industry. The annual GBTA Legislative Summit brings together passionate professionals who want to advocate for the future of the business travel industry. This event presents attendees with the unique opportunity to:

  • Meet with their Senators and Representatives to share opinions and advocate for policies that support the business travel industry;
  • Learn about Congressional debates and outcomes that will impact the business travel industry;
  • Hear perspectives from Administration Officials and Members of Congress;
  • Connect with other industry professionals who want to make a difference; and
  • Gain a unique DC experience.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to GBTA at eventsupport@gbta.org.

A full refund less a $75 administrative fee will be given for cancellations received on or before May 7, 2018.

No refunds will be given after May 7, 2018. There are no refunds for "no shows.” Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.

Substitution Policy

A GBTA attendee may transfer his/her registration to another eligible party if he/she is unable to attend. All substitution requests must be made in writing to GBTA at eventsupport@gbta.org and handled on the backend of the registration system.

The substitute is responsible for any and all financial arrangements between the original registrant and the substitute. The original registrant's registration may be refunded (less the $75 administrative fee) or transferred to the substitute. If the substitute is in a different member category than the original registrant additional fees may apply.

This year’s event will be held at the Ronald Reagan Building – located just blocks from the White House and Department of Transportation in downtown Washington, D.C.

Guest are encouraged to arrive at 7:15 p.m. Boarding time is 7:30 p.m. and the boat will depart promptly at 7:45 p.m.

Guests will be able to see the Georgetown waterfront, boathouse, and University, the Watergate Hotel, Kennedy Center, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, the Pentagon, entrance to the Tidal Basin, Hain’s Point, the Custis Lee Memorial, Key Bridge, and the Memorial Bridge.
