GBTA Foundation, Project ICARUS Open Call for Nominations for European Outstanding Achievement Awards for Sustainability 2015
Awards Will Honor Outstanding Achievements in Furthering Business Travel and Meetings Sustainability Programs
Alexandria, VA (May 28, 2015) —The GBTA Foundation, the education and research arm of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) and Project ICARUS announced today the call for nominations and applications is now open for the annual Project ICARUS Outstanding Achievement Awards for Sustainability in business travel and meetings across Europe.
The awards recognize travel buyers, suppliers and intermediaries who can demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation and commitment to delivering best in class sustainability programs, products and services within the region.
“More and more companies are building ‘Responsible Travel’ best practices into their business travel and meetings programs and we are thrilled to recognize those companies and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to this drive to greater sustainability in our industry,” said Bernard Harrop, head of sustainability Project ICARUS.
The closing date for nominations/applications is October 3, 2015. The winners will be announced and presented with a specially commissioned bronze Project ICARUS trophy at GBTA Conference 2015 | Frankfurt held in partnership with VDR at the Congress Center, Messe Frankfurt, Germany on the 9th to 11th November 2015.
