GBTA Europe Town Hall and Advocacy Efforts

GBTA Europe held its second Town Hall yesterday, to share regional knowledge and insights with the GBTA membership. The event was hosted by Catherine Logan, Regional Vice President – EMEA, GBTA.

Dave Hilfman, interim Executive Director, GBTA opened the event with an update on the association, our ongoing advocacy efforts and plans for the future. Mark Cuschieri, Chair of the European Advisory committee then gave an update on volunteer and committee activity.

This was followed by a discussion between key industry association leaders, representing different elements of the supply chain on how COVID-19 has impacted them and what needs to happen for a return to travel. Speakers included James Foice, CEO, Association of Serviced Apartment Providers, Julia Lo Bue Said, CEO at The Advantage Travel Partnership and Thomas Reynaert, Managing Director, A4E.
