GBTA Signs on to Industry Requests to Congress in Key Verticals of Global Business Travel

Alexandria, VA (March 23, 2020)—The following statement can be attributed to GBTA COO and Executive Director Scott Solombrino:

“The coronavirus has completely upended the global travel industry. Business travel is a global economic driver, directly or indirectly supporting one in every seven jobs. GBTA supports the following requests on the part of the aviation, hotel, travel management companies (TMC) and ground transportation industries for federal assistance in helping them achieve financial stabilization.

GBTA is in favor of all efforts to maintain these critical aspects of the global economy.”
