However, companies now recognize that in order to remain competitive and up to date with the current environmental and social contexts, they must operate more responsibly. Companies around the world are now examining their business travel practices as a lever to reduce overall emissions. But what does this mean in practice, and how can travel programs contribute to the effort?

GBTA Academy’s Gestão Sustentável de Viagens course focuses on the practical application of climate action and the management, reduction, and tracking of carbon emissions from business travel. This training course will address the challenges and opportunities as forward-thinking organizations look to launch or advance their sustainable travel management program.
By taking this course, GTP holders will earn 10 GTP® Recertification credits. All course participants will earn a Certificate of Completion.

O que esperar
- Four (4) virtual sessions will be delivered via Zoom Meetings. Attendance is required for all sessions, and participants should plan to be on-camera and engaged in each session. Live sessions consist of application, discussion, and group activity work based on pre-work.
- Up to one month prior to the first virtual session, participants receive calendar blocks and login details through Outlook and Zoom.
- Prior to each of the virtual sessions, participants receive pre-work to complete. This will take approximately 2 hours to complete. These will prepare the participant for each virtual session.
- Participants will be emailed an electronic Certification of Completion at the end of the course.
