GBTA is hosting its 4th annual Supplier Summit in Boston on November 2-3. This special supplier-only event will feature education, insight into what buyers want and a tour of the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center where GBTA’s 2017 Convention will take place this July.
The event will kick off Wednesday evening with a networking reception held at the Skywalk Observatory located atop the Prudential Center, sponsored by local destination management company, DPI Events. Thursday follows with a full-day of education designed to ensure suppliers make the most of their Convention experience.
We are pleased to have Susan Ratliff, the Exhibit Expert, joining us to share tips with suppliers on how to turn your booth into a lead generation machine. With 25 years of experience in the tradeshow trenches she not only knows the shortcuts to success, but can relay mistakes made as well, so you don’t have to experience them. From both sides of the exhibit aisle she learned what attendees want, how exhibitors think and what they both need to be successful. She will share detailed instructions and relevant techniques that can be immediately implemented to maximize your company’s performance and profits at the show and after. Susan will give your booth staff a renewed enthusiasm for exhibit marketing, keys to a competitive advantage and the knowledge to work the show like a pro.
Jeanne Liu, GBTA Foundation Vice President of Research, will lead a buyer panel discussion providing firsthand tips on what buyers like and dislike about their supplier interactions leading up to, during and after Convention. Additionally, Ed Barrett, GBTA’s Senior Vice President of Global Membership & Marketing, will give a presentation on key marketing tactics to crush your Convention goals. He’ll share proven tips to help you build your brand recognition using digital marketing.
On top of the education sessions there will be more networking opportunities as well as a comprehensive tour to see how the event will flow, where to expect traffic patterns and the chance to reserve prime sponsorship opportunities throughout the center.
