In this 4th installment of ‘It’s SME Again’ podcast series from GBTA’s Sports, Media & Entertainment Committee (SME), we chat with Dewitt Jones, world renowned National Geographic photographer and motivational speaker about how travel can enhance or detract from performance, and how there is more than one right answer in travel, and life. We have previously spoken with road warriors from professional baseball to film and television production to an Olympics Water Polo team. One of the common threads we have discovered is how travel is a key ingredient to success in the sports, media, and entertainment industries.

* GBTA members will vote for new Board of Directors, including President and Vice President to lead the Association in the summer of 2023. Per association bylaws, individuals with free memberships fall into the non-voting member category. As such, any opting for this free membership are not eligible to run for GBTA elected positions or to vote in GBTA elections during the term the free membership is effective. Only fully paid GBTA members are eligible to vote or run for elected offices.

Harry Hohmeister, Member of the Board Global Markets & Network, Lufthansa Group will be in Brussels as part of the Industry CEO Panel

Harry Hohmeister, Member of the Board Global Markets & Network, Lufthansa Group will be joining GBTA CEO, Suzanne Neufang in Brussels on main stage on Wednesday 9 November as part of the Industry CEO Panel.

Harry has been a member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG since July 2013 and was responsible as Chief Commercial Officer Network Airlines for the commercial management of Premium Network Airlines and the management of the hubs of these airlines until 31 December 2019. Since 1 January 2020 he has been in charge of the Executive Board department “Commercial Passenger Airlines” and is responsible for the coordination of net-work planning, revenue management, dispatch and sales for all passenger airlines in the Lufthansa Group. Harry will share his reflections and forthcoming plans as the world reconnects. The panel will explore what will be different and what are the opportunities and challenges for business travel in a post pandemic world.
