GBTA Southern Africa Strategic Partners
Considering that the business travellers make up a very small percentage of the Southern African population by numbers, the contribution to the fiscus is significant. With an estimated R26 Billion collected via BSP in 2019, we can safely say that 80% of that was booked travel for corporate customers.
It remains a relevant and important sector to the Southern African travel market and now more than ever, the GBTA SA must step up and plot the way forward for outbound travel. A strong Association gives us a seat at the travel and tourism table, the ability to have a voice in the face of our stakeholders which includes the National Department of Tourism, the Tourism Business Council, the respective airline, hospitality and tourism associations and the Airports Company of South Africa.
What we offer our Partners
- A unique environment to network with corporate travel buyers in a relaxed and congenial environment;
- An opportunity to contribute to education within the corporate travel environment; and
- A platform to create an awareness of your brand and business objectives with current and potential clients.
