The GBTA Business Travel Index Outlook – Annual Global Report & Forecast is a five-year, forward-looking forecast of global business travel spending and growth along with global business traveler survey insights. The forecast allows one to understand both recent market performance and the outlook for business travel into a single metric that can be tracked over time. Now in its 16th year of publication, the BTI™ has been a signature GBTA research study and is a critical industry planning tool that monitors business travel spending and growth covering 72 countries across 44 industries. It includes demand-side measurements of business travel—all types of business trips and all spending while on a trip.

The BTI Data Cube contains the data points that feed the report and allows one to customize the data series for specific analyses. At a high level, the BTI Data Cube contains the following raw data:
