Why Learning Matters More Than Ever for Industry Professionals
Whether as a catalyst for growth or navigating in times of uncertainty, industry professionals
play a vital role in helping their organizations and teams recognize and harness the full value of business travel. Championing business travel’s positive impact while mitigating its challenges helps to unlock the full potential of in-person connections and collaboration while also growing careers.
It’s more important than ever for our industry professionals to stay educated and informed. Keeping up with the latest trends, tools, and best practices is essential, especially now. Whether you’re the one teaching or the one learning on any given topic, one of the best opportunities to do just that is at the GBTA Convention, July 21–23 in Denver.
From peer connection and panels to key topics and keynotes, this year’s event again offers an unparalleled platform for learning and connection. Attendees will benefit from 98 education sessions across 16 tracks—from Accommodations to Transportation and Mobility, plus two new tracks focused on AI and the Future of the Workforce.
Whether you’re deep-diving into the fundamentals or brushing up on something new, take advantage of all the learning offered. (If you haven’t yet registered for Convention, make sure you do soon – Denver is right around the corner!)
In the coming weeks, we’ll also be releasing new research reports, including our next five-year global spending forecast, travel pricing outlook and follow-up sentiment poll revealing our industry’s latest views on the potential impact of U.S. government actions on business travel. Information is power amidst uncertainty – and these research insights are designed to help our members and industry better navigate the road ahead.
And just as education is an investment in your future, so is voting in the GBTA Board of Directors 2025 election. Voting is open for one more week and the participation of our members worldwide is essential. This is your opportunity to influence the future of our Association. There’s an impressive line-up for this year’s candidates. Cast your vote by Tuesday, July 8 at 5:00 PM ET. (Members, check your email for the personalized voting link, or let us know if you cannot find it.) Tune in for the results during the virtual GBTA Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, July 9 at 11:00 AM ET. Every ballot makes a difference — and we hope we can count on yours.
