Europe Releases Standards for Sustainability Reporting

What happened: Last week, the EU adopted new Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) to make corporate sustainability reporting within the EU more accurate, comparable, and standardized.

Why it matters: The standards require all companies with 250+ employees operating in the EU to report their scope 3 emissions – including their business travel emissions.
