Though requiring patience and effort along the way, consolidating meetings, events, and/or travel programs can increase time and spend savings on both departmental and organizational levels. Building from data collected in 2015, this 2017 research from the GBTA Foundation continues the exploration of the barriers and benefits of program consolidation. Leveraging the experiences of others, trending data, and market insights, attendees will learn how to streamline their own consolidation process in order to maximize value and minimize pain points.
At the end of the session, participants should be able to:

  • Understand how the landscape of meetings, events, and/or travel program consolidation continues to evolve
  • Identify the challenges and benefits of program consolidation today
  • Discover best practices for successful consolidation
