GBTA Europe held its first Town Hall this week to share regional knowledge and insights with the GBTA membership. The event was hosted by Catherine Logan, Regional Vice President – EMEA, GBTA.
Dave Hilfman, interim Executive Director, GBTA opened the event with an update on the association, the activities and plans for the future. Mark Cuschieri, Chair of the European Advisory committee then spoke about the importance of volunteers and the new appointments to the European Advisory board and advisory boards in Italy and France.
GBTA is advocating hard on behalf of members and Zeinah Mugdadi from GBTA advocacy PR agency, Grayling spoke about the state of play in the EU, the prospects of resuming intra EU and international travel, and the impact of Brexit and COVID-19 on travel.
The Town Hall was made possible by Rocketrip. Liam Moroney, VP Marketing, Rocketrip closed the event with an insightful presentation about “getting travellers back on the road,” looking at traveller needs and experience.
